The Northeast Wisconsin Invasives Partnership (NEWIP) is a cooperative invasive species group that serves Brown, Outagamie, Waupaca, and Winnebago Counties and the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin.
We offer opportunities to the community through education workshops, volunteer workdays and invasive species mapping to lead a coordinated effort to reduce invasive species in northeast Wisconsin!
A volunteer removes Japanese Knotweed from the side of a road. Japanese Knotweed is a common invasive plant in Wisconsin with restricted status.
NEWIP's mission is to coordinate management of invasive species through community-wide collaboration, education, mapping, and control.
